As a subconsultant to Nelson & Pope, CSM is providing construction inspection services on a Governor’s Office of Storm Recovery (GOSR) project focused on waterfront resiliency improvements.

A portion of the work will be dedicated to the Village of Amityville’s storm sewer improvements, inclusive of new drainage structure installations, installation of splash/spray guards, vegetation planting, roadway reconstruction, and curb installations. The project also calls for bulkhead improvement construction, if necessary, in order to minimize flood damage from future storms.

The other portion of the Amityville resiliency project will focus on the installation of coastal outfall check values at approxmiately 20 locations throughout the Village. CSM performs inspection of field work, records measurements and quantiles, and ensures that the work is performed as per the construction policies and specifications.
