As a subconsultant to NV5, CSM provided construction engineering inspection services on this Design-Build project located in the Town of Babylon.

The project included the construction of a temporary bridge, removal of the existing bridge and replacement with a permanent bridge. A new foundation was installed, the approach pavements were reconstructed, and the on and off ramps were reconnected.

CSM’s responsibilities included: overseeing construction of the GRSS WALL, placement of temporary barriers, installation of waller and tie rods, sidewalk and asphalt removal, and guiderail removal. Our staff performed field inspections of materials and quantities, material acceptance and calculations of taken measurements and quantities.
