As a subconsultant to NV5, CSM is provided construction inspection services for priority surface treatments for NYSDOT assets in Region 10.

Our staff inspected the following areas: removal of the existing curb ramps, placement of formworks, wire mesh installation, and concrete pouring. Our staff oversaw the contractor’s operations to ensure compliance with the plans and specifications and the quality of materials and methods used.

This project included milling and resurfacing of NY105 from Wantagh Avenue to Newbridge Road and NY101 from NY25A to Harbor Road. The work included WZTC operations, cleaning and resetting of drainage structures, installation and/or the relocation of signage, blow and seal operations, milling and paving operations, striping operations, and the installation of traffic loops. The work also included the removal/replacement of curbs, sidewalks, and curb ramps using Class-D concrete.
